What is the Queensland Education Leadership Institute?

The Queensland Education Leadership Institute (QELI) is part of the Queensland Government’s response to the recommendations of the Queensland Education Performance Review undertaken by Professor Geoff Masters in 2008-09. The Government affirmed that educational leadership offered by principals and other school leaders is a critical factor in the performance of schools, the quality of teaching, and the educational experiences of students.
