Federal Election 2010

The Federation of Parents and Friends Associations and The Queensland Catholic Education Commission (QCEC) have joined together with the National Catholic Education Commission (NCEC) to seek six commitments from Federal political parties ahead of this years election.

The six commitments are listed in the Joint QCEC and P&F Media Release 

The period prior to an election is especially important as parties review established policies and develop new ones.  Catholic school communities are encouraged to form a delegation of leaders from within your school or a cluster of schools to seek a meeting with Federal MPs and/or candidates. To support this process the Federation and the Queensland Catholic Education Commission have developed the following materials to help highlight some of the important issues to Catholic schools:
