Parent Presentation:
The Future For Our Children

What are we doing to our young people?

It is likely to be an amazing world up ahead, and all we
sometimes do is tell them how awful it’s going to be. Yet
the future is not just something that happens to us. It’s
something we create with the actions we take today. This
powerful and entertaining session from an education
futurist will explain what form those actions can take, and
how we can best prepare our children for their dramatic
and extraordinary future. We will focus on the capabilities
they will need up ahead; and the endless possibilities for
their working careers in their adult lives.

Tony is an ‘education futurist’. In
the past two decades, he has directly
worked with over 1000 schools,
colleges, TAFEs and universities in 10
countries around the world. His work
focuses on developing learning that
generates excitement in young people
for the future.

He is the author of Thinkers Keys, The
Ripple Effect, Mindlinks, Wrapped In
Living and a series of manuals and
workbooks that stimulate innovative
thinking in classrooms. His latest book
‘The Next Generation’ was released by
Wiley and Sons publishers in late 2017.
Tony has twice appeared recently on
national TV, and in numerous radio
interviews and feature articles in
newspapers and magazines.

He is an ambassador for School Aid
Australia, a non-profit organisation
that has raised over $5 million in the
past ten years to support children in
disaster-affected regions of the world.
